Who we love
At the Dandelion Bakery I am lucky enough to work with a lot of suppliers and I would like to share with you a list of those that Ive grown to know and love. I don’t just hand my love out though. This is a list of tried and tested suppliers and I don’t add just anyone to this list, you know. We only add suppliers who deliver the same great service and eye for detail that my brides expect. Some of these were even suppliers for my own wedding in 2014. So yeah, they’re good.
Hair and make up
Vicky Brown Hair and Makeup comes highly recommended. Vicky is great at making you feel comfortable and beautiful. She’s so good that I chose her to do the make up for me and my 3 bridesmaids on my own wedding day. And here she is doing her thing…
Sarah-Helen of Restyle Magic is a wonderful hair and make up artist. She can cater to those who want to look clean and natural as well as those looking for a more dramatic look. She even covers the full-on vintage look! Sarah-Helen is relaxing to be around, listens carefully to her clients and can even do makeovers for family members who may be unused to wearing makeup. She recently did my make up for me when I got roped in to modelling at a charity fashion show, and this was the end result!
Charles White Photography took all of the lovely photos that you see on this website. Chazz also happens to be kind, generous, funny and an all round good guy as well as a fantastic photographer.
Jo Neville Photography took some great product shots for me that I use in our publicity material, she also took all the photos of the DIY wedding cake and made the beautiful film for me. We’ve also done a couple of weddings together too. Jo is also a sweetheart and you can read more about why I love her over on my blog.
Clare Tam-im Photography was my own wedding photographer. Clare is wonderful and she does an incredible job of capturing the mood and feeling of the day. She made us and our guests feel so comfortable and the photos are just gorgeous.
Natalie Branch Floral Design creates beautiful flowers for weddings. She has a lovely, modern feel to her work, but sometimes modern flowers feel stark – Natalie’s don’t. They are modern, but luscious and decadent. Natalie is also an absolute sweetheart.
Wendy Warren curates a beautiful range of jewellery. She chooses sterling silver, pearl and semi precious stone pieces that are perfect for your wedding jewellery or as gifts for your bridesmaids. Wendy is great at finding exactly the right piece for you and even managed to find three pieces that colour-matched my wedding scheme for me to give as gifts to my own bridesmaids.
Health and wellbeing
Sunshine Health & Fitness is the wonderful Alison Smith and has helped me to get and stay in shape despite the daily consumption of cake. Alison is funny, smart and down to earth, but she is also inspiring and spectacularly athletic. You can read more about why I love her over on my blog.
Space2be therapy provides counselling and cognitive hypnotherapy from the fabulous Karen Mistlin, who is kind, sensitive and very easy to talk to. She is also so much fun to be around! You can read more about why I love her over on my blog.
Hitched is the one stop shop for all things wedding – if you are looking for suppliers in your local area and you can’t find anyone in our list, try Hitched.
